I just finished reading an article that described the latest thinking at Yahoo regarding telecommuting: CEO Mayer calls in all Yahoo telecommuters. Marissa Mayer has decided that she wants all employees to work in the office and has squashed the telecommuting policy from Yahoo’s cadre of employee perks.

From Google Maps, to Yelp, to the social buttons on the left side of this page, Web APIs are everywhere! And it doesn't look like their growth will be slowing anytime soon. Truthfully, APIs have become a necessity for almost any successful site, including e-commerce sites, which use them to combine Web services and contextual information for a more compelling user experience.
