Our partners at Falafel Software released the latest edition of their superior courseware for TestComplete version 7 — “TestComplete 7 Made Easy”. The book provides an overview of TestComplete, explains its key concepts and provides a step-by-step guidance for checkpoints, data-driven testing, web testing and many other features, along with the hands-on labs. Besides updated material, the new edition contains new chapters on Keyword Testing (keyword-driven testing) — one of the most exciting new features in TestComplete 7. Thanks to Lino Tadros, Steve Trefethen and the rest of the team for the great work!

The PDF e-book (including sample test projects) is available as a free download:

Noted that TestComplete 7 software is outdated, but Made Easy is not how I would describe this manual. Trying to go thru the tutorial is nearly impossible, there are too many gaps in the flow and most of the time I have to do things by trial and error to figure out how to get the to stage where the results in the book match the intended tutorial. $50 for a 300 page book that is mostly screen shots is not worth it. Print up the manual from the software. It appears to be the same thing.
