Calling all techie Austinites! If you're a member of IEEE, ACM, local technical user groups, or any other professional engineering associations; the local angel or VC community; or otherwise involved in the Central Texas high-tech community, the door64 Tech Fair on Thursday, April 30 will likely pique your interest!
This expo, a shining example of Austin’s active tech scene, is designed to showcase Central Texas technology companies, providing exposure in the local tech community while helping local techies experience the landscape of high-tech in Central Texas. We Austinites are proud of our high-tech community, and this event is a great way to show it off!
More than 850 people have already signed up to enjoy informative
sessions, a panel discussion predicting the engineer of the future, a
tour of Goodwill Industries’ computer recycling program, and plenty of
companies and techies to talk to.
Smart Bear will be there handing out free books on code review best practices and showcasing version 5.0 of our code review tool, Code Collaborator. We’ll even have our own bear prowling about (featuring Roy in the bear suit).
door64 calls it “a shot of career adrenaline,” and who am I to disagree? Come join us for the fun!
The door64 Tech Fair runs from 11-4pm on Thursday, April 30th. IEEE's Third Annual Austin Brain Party follows, running well into the night. Visit door64 to learn more and sign up.
