Jason has written about this before: a guy in a bear suit can really draw a crowd at a conference like SD West. So just like in 2007, Roy happily agreed to wear the bear suit at SD West this year. As Jason noted, it can be a bit odd to have a bear talk to you about peer code review, but most folks seemed to enjoy it.
It would have been nice if there had been more folks in attendance to enjoy the experience. I would imagine with today's economy, most trade shows are suffering from a drop in attendance and SD West is no exception. But the attendees who did come saw some top quality speakers.
One of those speakers was Jason, who did a talk entitled Peer Code Review Doesn't Have to Suck. The room was almost completely full, but even better, there were really good questions from the attendees.
I managed to take a few photos: Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 - enjoy!
